
Body Connections Yoga
We teach regular classes in the Rockingham and Mandurah area.
Our classes are open to beginners and experienced yogis.
You will be challenged physically and mentally, and encouraged to extend yourselves gradually in class and over time to explore and enjoy your yoga practise more deeply.
Careful attention is given to correct form and alignment in the poses. Classes have a therapeutic basis to encourage your body, through appropriate stretching, strengthening and correct breathing, to return to optimum shape and function.

Regularity is the key!
You’ll feel better, do better in class and benefit more from your practise.
All equipment is provided.
Kim teaches with particular focus on breathing, and correct positioning to open, align, release and facilitate the flow of our bodies’ natural energy.
Classes are taught with a therapy approach to assist students to learn the skills to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.
Using props and variations as appropriate, students are encouraged to explore various yoga postures, and to discover a deeper enjoyment of their practice.
Kim has worked with many local, national and international Yoga teachers and elements of theirteachings are evident as breathing, movement, enquiry and awareness combine to create a therapeutic yet powerful approach to yoga practice, in a safe learning environment.
These busy classes have been running for several years now.
To accommodate demand classes run on a 10 week term basis,
roughly in line with school terms.
Newcomers are welcome to do a class first and decide before joining for the remainder of term providing we have space available.
There is usually space for casual one off visits.
These are Open classes suitable for beginners and experienced yogis. You will be encouraged to explore various yoga postures and extend yourselves
gradually in class and over time.
Allow and open to the feel of your body and breathing and let them guide you. Work as strongly as you choose, rest as often as you need and
create a balanced practice that benefits you more individually.
With regular practice, this approach releases, rejuvenates and strengthens your body, and relaxes your nervous system to create balance and flow in your life.
